“STUDENT 2020” CLUB
Background
“Student 2020” club was founded in April 2006 with the “Armenia2020” Project initiation.
Today youth (especially students) faces a number of problems such as the lack of access to information, absence of jobs for students, lack of communication among students and other youth representatives.
To solve all the above mentioned problems the students decided to unite and found a club which later was named “Student 2020” Club.
Mission
- Promote the youth active participation in Armenia’s future development through creating Global Youth Network.
Objectives
- To promote the youth creative, intellectual, cultural and spiritual development by implementing joint projects with local and foreign organizations.
- To set collaboration and partnership with local and foreign organizations working on youth, educational, scientific, cultural and national issues.
- To PR the activities of the Club in Armenia and abroad to attract the interested youth representatives.
- To promote an active partnership development among students by implementing projects and events celebration.
- To create an inter-institutional students website, this will raise the awareness and will help to create the global youth network.
Ongoing Activities
- Promoting the information about the Club activities in Armenia and abroad.
- Organization of the Inter-student Forum with the participation of the Armenian and foreign organizations.
- Organization of students meetings, open discussions, round tables and presentations.
